After the 2008 European Championship In Blanes, Spain a
Match Racing test event was organised to get input and comments
from Sailors, Umpires and the Race Committee. The International
Jury, chaired by Ted GRAESLUND (DEN), worked from 3 umpire boats
during the Championship and the test event. The conditions was from flat
flat water and 4 knots to rough seas and 16-18 knots. The conclusion of the
Jury for a suitable boat for umpiring Ynglings was the following:
